Off-White Makes Its Mark on Golf Fashion with Paris Hilinski
Off-White Launches Golf Collection with Paris Hilinski, Blending High Fashion with Golf’s Rising Youth Culture
Off-White has officially ventured into golf fashion, a step that signals the deepening relationship between high fashion and the traditionally conservative sport. As reported by Hypebeast’s, Hype Golf, this shift was showcased when pro golfer Paris Hilinski wore pieces from the new Off-White golf line at the Aramco Team Series in Saudi Arabia. She sported signature pieces such as striped sweater vests, performance polos, and lightweight base layers, all adorned with the brand’s new golf logo.
The collection’s highlight is the revamped Out Of Office sneaker, once shared with golf icon Anthony Kim during his comeback, and varsity jackets emblazoned with chenille patches that blend effortlessly into both athletic and streetwear wardrobes.
This line marks Off-White’s formal entry into the golf space, a collaboration ignited by Hilinski’s unique streetwear-luxury blend and her existing ties to Off-White. With pieces for both men and women, Off-White’s golf collection is set to appeal broadly, and a December 5 launch event during Miami's Art Basel underscores the brand’s pop-cultural positioning.
Off-White’s entry reflects how golf is reshaping its image, especially among younger, style-conscious fans. Brands like Malbon, Manors, and Eastside Golf paved the way with golfwear that fits this era on and off the course and we’ve seen numerous capsule collections and creative collaborations from well-known fashion houses that merged fashion-forward streetwear with golf’s aesthetic. Yet, having a brand as influential as Off-White, make such a dedicated move into golf signifies a big step up, it signals that golf is not only evolving in popularity but becoming increasingly “cooler” — a transformation propelled by a youth-driven desire for authenticity and creativity.
Golf has always been a lifestyle symbol, it’s just that symbol has shifted, blending effortlessly into pop culture and attracting attention from fans and fashion enthusiasts who value style as much as sport. For young people, the Off-White line allows them to embrace golf’s culture without sacrificing their individual style.
By bridging golf with a streetwear sensibility, Off-White is helping dissolve the long-held notions of golf as a "stuffy" sport. This shift may encourage other major fashion houses to follow suit, ultimately broadening golf’s appeal and bringing it even closer to mainstream sports culture.
It’s a trend that has been happening in other major sports. Off-White has been partners with AC Millan (soccer) since 2021, Kith founder Ronnie Fieg has been the artistic director at the New York Knicks since 2022, and this year CP Company partnered with Premier League champions Manchester City, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
This evolution may not be for everyone but I think it’s great for the culture of golf.
